Prosperous Provinces

  • The provinces shall have the first right over their natural resources.
  • Unnecessary checkpoints across the country shall be abolished.
  • The written agreement between the “Haqooq Do Gwadar Ko” (Give Rights to Gwadar) movement and the Government of Balochistan shall be implemented.
  • Negotiations shall be held with aggrieved Baloch tribes, and they shall be brought into the national mainstream and treated with respect.
  • In the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award, the share of the terrorism-affected province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa shall be increased.
  • The merged districts of the former FATA shall be brought at par with developed districts through a “special development package.”
  • A “Real Estate Authority” shall be established at the provincial level, and the rights of affected persons in housing societies and schemes shall be protected.
  • A “Waste Management Authority” shall be established to dispose of garbage dumps from all cities.
  • A comprehensive development plan shall be presented for a prosperous Karachi.
  • The agreement between Jamaat-e-Islami’s “Haqooq Do Karachi Ko” movement and the Government of Sindh shall be implemented.
  • The Bahawalpur province shall be restored.
  • Southern Punjab shall be made a separate province on administrative grounds and brought at par with developed regions.
