A protest demonstration was held in Aabpara against the U.S. and Israeli attack on Iran, in response to the appeal of Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman.

On the appeal of Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, a protest demonstration was organized in Aabpara against the U.S. and Israeli attack on Iran. Jamaat-e-Islami Islamabad Ameer Islam Nasrullah Randhawa and Secretary General Zubair Safdar addressed the gathering. Sajid Iqbal Chaudhry, Rao Javed Akhtar, and other leaders were also present. A large number of people from across the city participated. Protesters carried anti-U.S. and anti-Israel placards and chanted slogans to express solidarity with Iran.

Addressing the participants at Aabpara Chowk, Jamaat-e-Islami Islamabad Ameer Nasrullah Randhawa said that on 28 February, the United States and Israel attacked Iran, and attempts are being made to justify it under the pretext of Iran’s nuclear program.

Randhawa stated that America’s own history is linked to some of the worst incidents, such as Hiroshima and Nagasaki; therefore, presenting any justification for an attack on Iran is unacceptable. He said this attack is not only against Iran but an act of aggression against the entire Muslim world, and its effects will be felt across the whole region.

He urged the Government of Pakistan to reverse its decision to join the “Board of Peace,” saying it has now become a board of war rather than peace. He added that Pakistan should play its role in uniting the Muslim Ummah so that no one dares to commit such aggression against any Islamic country in the future.
